Hi, I’m Greg T. To most, I’m a radio personality. To others, I’m just the guy they’re still figuring out. Born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, I’ve always known my path would be a little... let’s call it "different." Long before podcasts took over your playlist, I was talking to millions of you through your car speakers during your morning commute.
Back in the day, I was pulling off jackass-style stunts before Johnny Knoxville made them cool and going viral before anyone knew what that meant. Reality TV? Been there, done that—just without the cameras. For over 30 years, I built my career, my family, and my reputation as "Greg T. the Frat Boy" live on the nationally syndicated *Elvis Duran Morning Show.*
But before all that, I was just a Jersey kid pumping gas at Amoco, skating on frozen ponds, mowing lawns for pocket change, and somehow landing at the college radio station. That mic?Total game-changer. Fast forward to me broadcasting from the top of the Empire State Building at Z1 00, shouting, “Good morning, New York City!”
By 1 996, I had solidified my spot on the *Elvis Duran Morning Show*. People always ask how I got there, and the truth? Right place, wrong time—or maybe the other way around. Either way,it worked out. In 2002, I married my wife, Tricia. The question everyone asks her is, "How do you put up with him?" Her answer? "Don’t worry; I’ve got wings of gold waiting for me."
And, honestly, she deserves them. Our daughters, Jada and Ella, completed the madness. Jada, born on April Fool’s Day (fitting, right?), and Ella, whose entrance into the world involved Danielle Monaro screaming at me mid-meeting to leave because "YOUR WIFE IS HAVING A BABY!" Lesson learned: When Tricia calls, drop everything. Oh, and then there’s Lucca—the dog my wife and kids brought home unannounced.
Sure, I complained (loudly), but now? She’s my biggest fan and the only one in the house who thinks I’m amazing. After 27 unforgettable years at Z1 00, I took a leap of faith to launch my own morning show at WKTU. And now, I’m all in on my newest venture: *WHERTAGO*. So, enough about me—let’s figure out WHERTAGO!
